    Best known for her role as dance teacher Lydia Grant, Allen also served as Fame's choreographer.

  • Erica Gimpel

    Erica Gimpel took over Fame’s starring role of ambitious Latina Coco Hernandez after Irene Cara introduced the character in the 1980 film.

  • Gene Anthony Ray

    Before he played charismatic dancer Leroy Johnson in Fame, Ray attended NYC's real School of the Arts.
