After he is reawakened from a lengthy cryogenic freeze, the bored bad dude will stop at nothing to bring the naughty back to this sterile society!

    Sassy hookers and dangerous drug lords are the least of the worries of L.A.P.D. cop Raymond Avilla, played by Cuban actor Andy García. When he becomes suspicious of fellow officer Dennis Peck (Richard Gere), a decorated detective with a dark side and plenty of deadly secrets, things really heat up in director Mike Figgis' intense 1990 thriller. A dangerous game of cat and mouse follows and culminates with a shocking showdown that pits these fearless cops against one another in a duel to the death!

The trio works to take down a vicious immigrant smuggling ring where the helpless are used as slave laborers. Martial arts master Jet Li and prolific Latino actor Danny Arroyo both put up a good fight as the butt-kicking bad guys, and Chris Rock joins a returning Joe Pesci to bring the laughs that balance the explosive, edge-of-your seat energy of this hit 1998 action thriller.

    Jimmy Smits, the star of nuvoTV's L.A. Law, comes out fighting as Arturo Ortega, a washed-up boxer who instills in his three sons his unshakable ambition. He begins coaching them in the ring with the hope that they will battle their way to the top in the world of professional boxing. Everything goes as planned until one of the boys is lured away from the fold by a fast-talking manager with big promises. With his dreams once again torn apart, the determined dad shifts his focus to a fight for his family in director Carlos Ávila's powerful, multiple-American Latino Media Arts Award nominated sports drama.

  • 48 Hours

    Eddie Murphy makes his big screen debut alongside Nick Nolte in this classic 1982 buddy comedy directed by Walter Hill. The unlikely pair plays a wise-cracking convict and a San Francisco detective, respectively, who have two days to find and apprehend a cop killer. The misguided mission results in a series of shoot-outs, bar brawls and some of Murphy's best one-liners.

    Before their recent real-life split, Puerto Rican music superstars Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony steamed up movie screens in this riveting tribute to iconic Puerto Rican salsa icon Héctor Lavoe and his muse. The 2006 bio pic traces the singer's rise to fame as he works to earn respect for Latin artists in mainstream music only to see his success shattered by drugs, self destruction and a devastating illness. The film earned the stars ALMA and Premios Juventud Award nominations for their performances, and the soundtrack nabbed a 2008 Latin Grammy for Best Salsa Album.

  • Lethal Weapon 3

    Mel Gibson and Danny Glover are back battling crime - and often one another - as Martin Riggs and Roger Murtaugh, two of the L.A.P.D.'s most unpredictable detectives, in the explosive third installment of this series of blockbuster buddy pictures. This time around the guys are shooting straight from the hip and hit the funny bone after reteaming with Lethal Weapon 2 wise guy Joe Pesci to take down a good cop gone bad and his crew of ammunition-dealing gangsters. As the guys' crime-fighting efforts begin to gain steam, family issues, a betrayal of the "bro code" and a sexy sergeant from internal affairs sent to investigate the unconventional cops threaten to distract them and derail their progress.

    In what is one of his final films, late Puerto Rican actor Raúl Juliá reunited with fellow acting heavyweights Angelica Huston and Christina Ricci on this 1993 sequel to the hit comedy The Addams Family, a slapstick satire of the popular '60s TV series. This time around, the groovy ghoul family conspires to save their beloved bald-headed Uncle Fester from losing his savings to a deceitful diva with dollar signs in her eyes.
