nuvoTV's Star Track

How do you follow up an iconic role as a chatty Chihuahua? If you're chameleon-like actor Carlos Alazraqui you become a smooth-talking speck of dust! The multi-talented Argentine-American performer, who was recently featured in nuvoTV's Pastport: Argentina, stars as a lovesick piece of dust in the latest installment of those wildly popular Swiffer dust mop commercials. That's him trying to convince a mop to sweep him off his feet in the funny TV spot.

The Swiffer ad is the latest memorable TV moment from Alazraqui, who has cemented his place in Latino pop culture with a number of unforgettable roles, most notably as the voice of "Gidget," the bilingual Chihuahua from Taco Bell's popular "Yo Quiero Taco Bell" commercials of the late '90s/early 2000s, and as the unpredictable Deputy James Garcia on the Comedy Central hit Reno 911.

It looks like Carlos' career is really cleaning up in Hollywood! Check out this cool clip from nuvoTV's Pastport: Argentina to see another side of the funny man turned family man and new dad!
